The Melrose Chamber of Commerce and the City of Melrose are pleased to announce the First Melrose Summer Stroll on June 20th with generous funding from the Melrose Messina Fund for the Arts and TD Bank. From 6:00 pm -9:00 pm Main Street will be closed and transformed into a two block walk way, spanning from Upham Street to Grove Street. Thanks to Music 101, live music will fill the air. A four piece jazz band, strolling violinist and accordion players, and local folk guitarist and singer, Howie Newman will entertain guests from one end of the street to the next. Restaurants will serve food and non-alcoholic beverages on the sidewalk, while our local merchants will offer tastings, demos, specials and sales within their stores.
