The Assistant to the Executive Director provides support to the Executive Director for all Chamber initiatives including networking events, signature community events, membership management and outreach, communications, financial management, and general office support. In 2018 the Chamber will implement new membership software and this position will play a key role in the implementation of the software, maintenance of data and outreach to members.
This position is paid hourly and reports directly to the Executive Director. The position averages 10-12 hours per week, with up to 20-25 hours/week during specific times of the year such as the annual Victorian Fair and Home for The Holidays. Working some early evening events as well as some early morning breakfast events throughout the year are also part of this position.
