Home for the Holidays

The 2017 Home for the Holidays is December 1st and 2nd!

Every year, the Melrose Chamber of Commerce hosts Home for the Holidays, a city-wide holiday open house that ushers in the holiday season in our community over two days.

Friday Evening Festivities:

5:45pm: Join us on the lawn of City Hall for holiday singing with local group, Main Street News!

6:00pm – 6:15pm: Cheer and Sing as Mayor Dolan lights the City Hall Christmas Tree (tree lights and labor donated by LCM PLUS!). Then stroll down towards the YMCA to await Santa’s arrival.

Around 6:30pm: Santa Claus will arrive in downtown Melrose!

Saturday Fun:

All day on Saturday the city will be full of fairs, performances, sales, specials, The Nutcracker, and tastings that last throughout the weekend.

Special holiday trolleys will run from 10:00am – 2:00pm, carrying shoppers throughout the shopping districts, for free. The trolleys are made possible by our generous business sponsors below.
